Terms of Use

Effective from 1 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Oraros service operated by ORAROS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17227040. The service is available at https://www.oraros.com and through our mobile applications (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the role-specific terms that apply to you.

1. Which terms apply to you

Oraros is used by several types of person, and the specific contract that applies depends on how you use the Service.

If you are a business owner subscribing to Oraros to manage your appointments, customers, staff, and payments, the Business Terms apply to you. They are available at https://www.oraros.com/legal/business-terms.

If you are a customer using Oraros to find and book an appointment with a business, the Customer Booking Terms apply to you. They are available at https://www.oraros.com/legal/customer-terms.

If you are a staff member invited by a business owner to receive bookings through Oraros, the staff terms shown to you when you accept the invitation apply.

In every case, our Privacy Policy (https://www.oraros.com/legal/privacy) and Cookie Policy (https://www.oraros.com/legal/cookies) also apply. If you are a business owner, the Data Processing Agreement (https://www.oraros.com/legal/dpa) governs how Oraros processes personal data on your behalf.

2. What Oraros is

Oraros is a software-as-a-service booking and business-management platform for barbershops, hair salons, nail studios, beauty businesses, and similar appointment-based businesses. We provide the software. The actual services booked through the platform are provided by independent businesses.

When you book an appointment through Oraros, the contract for the service is between you and the business. Oraros is not a party to that contract. Payments for those services flow directly through Stripe Connect to the business; Oraros never holds your payment for the service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an Oraros customer account in your own name. Business accounts require an authorised representative of at least 18 years old. Detailed eligibility is set out in the role-specific terms linked above.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break the law in any country you operate in or whose residents you interact with; to process personal data unlawfully; to defraud, deceive, harass, defame, or threaten any person; to upload malicious code; to scrape, copy, or republish content from Oraros without permission; to attempt to access another user's account; to bypass rate limits, security controls, access controls, or authentication; or to upload obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for serious or repeated breaches of this section. More detailed acceptable-use provisions are set out in the role-specific terms.

5. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password and credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Notify us immediately at support@oraros.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Intellectual property

The Oraros website, software, brand, logos, and design are owned by ORAROS LTD. You may use them only as the Service allows. Business names, logos, and content uploaded by businesses belong to the relevant business.

7. Your data

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can close your account at any time from the in-app settings or by emailing support@oraros.com. The full account-deletion process is described at https://www.oraros.com/legal/account-deletion.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect (30 days for business owners). The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

9. Governing law and your rights

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject in every case to the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of habitual residence, which we do not seek to displace.

If you are a consumer habitually resident in Romania or another EU member state, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country continue to apply. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis). EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If you have a data-protection concern, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk) or to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) in Romania (dataprotection.ro), or to your country's national supervisory authority.
